About
Alex Lopatka is the features editor at Physics Today and is responsible for writing and editing stories, mentoring editors, and soliciting articles. He has written and edited stories about astronomy, condensed matter physics, meteorology, science education, quantum mechanics and other topics in and about the physical sciences. Before working at AIP, he wrote stories for Chesapeake Quarterly and EARTH Magazine. He has a PhD in climate science from the University of Maryland.
