Physics Today

1981 was a year of celebration marking the 50th anniversary of AIP’s founding. It was also a year marking a transition after 50 years of print publishing. AIP’s successful two‐site operation, the new emphasis on member‐related services, and special commemorative events throughout this anniversary year are detailed in this Annual Report.
