Whither Moon water? Lunar probes successfully launch

SPACE.com : There have been raging debates over the years as to whether there is frozen water on the moon or not.

Earlier today two NASA spacecraft, the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter and the LCROSS impactor , blasted off on NASA’s first mission to the moon in more than a decade.Any ice they discover could not only answer some challenging questions about the geological history of the Moon, but also to support further space exploration.
