NIST director Gallagher talks to Nature

Nature News : With a US$820 million budget and about 3000 employees, the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Gaithersburg, Maryland, is an important supporter of basic research. Nature discussed the future of the agency, part of the Department of Commerce, with newly confirmed NIST director Patrick Gallagher .
