AUG 24, 2010
Physics Today
Daily Mail : Two Danish inventors, Kristian von Bengtson and Peter Madsen, hope to launch the world’s first amateur-built rocket for human space travel on 30 August. Built by the Danish firm Copenhagen Suborbitals , the homemade rocket will launchâmdash;unmannedâmdash;from a submarine in the Baltic Sea. If the launch is successful, Madsen plans to ride in the capsule himself on its next launch.
