Are nuclear weapons safe in Pakistan?

The New Yorker : Pakistan has been a nuclear power for two decades, and has an estimated 80 to 100 warheads, scattered in facilities around the country.Last month 10 gunmen penetrated the Pakistan army’s main headquarters, in Rawalpindi, instigating a 22-hour standoff that left 23 dead and the military thoroughly embarrassed.The success of the latest attacks raises an obvious question, says the New Yorker‘s Seymour M. Hersh : Are the bombs safe?
