Physics Today⋯1950

The American Institute of Physics has discontinued the free circulation of Physics Today to all members. Despite that fact, this issue, the very first limited to paid subscribers, will have a circulation of over 10,000. So far as we know, Physics Today has the largest circulation among physicists of any single periodical. With such support, Physics Today enters its third calendar year of life inspired to continued improvement and confident of a growing readership.
