IBM to set up Cell Broadband Engine Based Supercomputer

TMCnet : The U.S. Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) has chosen IBM to design a supercomputer to make use of the Cell Broadband Engine (Cell B.E.) processor. The supercomputer will offer sustained speeds of up to 1,000 trillion calculations per second, or one petaflop.
