APS member named a 2011 L’Oreal Women in Science Laureate

Anne L’Huillier, Professor of Atomic Physics at Lund University, was named one of five Women in Science Laureates for her pioneering project contributing to finding solutions to major challenges for our planet. She works on the development of the fastest camera for recording events in attoseconds (a billionth of a billionth of a second).
