Visiting physicists from abroad

FEB 01, 1958
The names below are those of physicists now visiting in the United States as recipients of US government grants under the Fulbright and Smith‐Mundt Acts as listed by the Committee on International Exchange of Persons. The Committee has suggested that many may welcome invitations to give lectures or informal talks to college, community, or other groups. Since most of the visitors have only limited resources, it is indicated, any honoraria offered would be helpful. Invitations to lecture may be sent directly to the visitor at the institution in which he is located. For additional information concerning an individual, write to Miss Elizabeth P. Lam, Executive Associate, Conference Board of Associated Research Councils, Committee on International Exchange of Persons, 2101 Constitution Ave., Washington 25, D.C. The symbols used below indicate present main activity: (L) lecturing; (R) research.
