Integrated laser and pointer system

The Laser Pointer from Alpes Lasers is an all-in-one device for optical alignment that uses visible and mid-IR colinear beams. Equipped with either a quantum cascade laser or interband cascade laser, the compact system combines a ruggedized optomechanical system, driver, and temperature controller for optimal efficiency and precision. The Laser Pointer features simple on-off operation by means of a push button or remote operation, active air cooling, and advanced embedded fixture solutions for OEM integration. It is compatible with imperial and metric optical breadboards and offers output power consistent with class 1 criteria for unprotected beam exposure. Compact narrow-linewidth lasers

Hübner Photonics has expanded its Cobolt 08-01 series of compact narrow-linewidth CW lasers for Raman spectroscopy to include the 08-DPL with a wavelength of 488 nm at 100 mW and a wavelength of 594 nm at 150 mW. The diode-pumped models offer single-frequency performance with high wavelength stability of less than 1 pm (in the range of ±3 °C over 8 h) and high spectral purity greater than 80 dB. The lasers in the series feature integrated electronics and an optional optical isolator and spectral cleanup filter. All Cobolt lasers are manufactured using proprietary HTCure technology; the resulting compact, hermetically sealed package provides a high level of reliability and immunity to varying environmental conditions.
