Weston Design: 400–500 GeV From a 200‐GeV Accelerator

A bold new design for the 200‐GeV accelerator is taking shape at the National Accelerator Laboratory. The strong‐focusing synchrotron will be capable of producing 400–500 GeV protons later by addition of power supplies to boost the magnetic field.
