The Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Educational Programs (CAMPEP ) is pleased to announce that two graduate programs, at the University of Chicago and the University of Calgary–Tom Baker Cancer Centre, have recently obtained accreditation for their Certificate Programs. A Certificate Program is a program of didactic coursework as identified in AAPM Report 197S and offered by a CAMPEP-accredited graduate or residency program. A Certificate Program enables individuals with a PhD or equivalent terminal degree in physics to meet the didactic requirements needed to enter a CAMPEP-accredited residency program.
