BEGINNING in July 1961, the AIP’s translated journal Soviet Physics—Doklady will be published on a monthly basis instead of every other month as in the past. The journal, offering brief reports on Soviet research and covering most aspects of pure and applied physics, is a translation of the physics sections of Doklady Akademii Nauk SSSR (the Proceedings of the Academy of Sciences, USSR).
