Smart skin patch monitors sun exposure

Daily Mail : Cosmetics company L’Oreal has unveiled the first stretchable skin sensor for monitoring the Sun’s rays. Half the thickness of a strand of hair, My UV Patch contains photosensitive dyes that change color when exposed to UV radiation. To check the amount of sun exposure, users take a photo of the patch with their smartphone and upload it to a special app. The patch can be used for several days in a row.
