AUG 01, 1956
Physics Today

ENGLISH translations of three additional Russian journals will soon be published by the American Institute of Physics, with the cooperation and support of the National Science Foundation, under a program begun last year with publication of Soviet Physics—JETP, a translation of the Zhurnal Eksperimentalnoi i Teoreticheskoi Fiziki. The new translation journals and annual domestic subscription prices are as follows: Soviet Physics—Technical Physics (Zhurnal Teknicheskoi Fiziki) $90; Soviet Physics—Acoustics (Akusticheskii Zhurnal) $20; Soviet Physics—Doklady (Doklady Akademii Nauk SSSR) $25. The program is under the guidance of the AIP Advisory Board on Russian Translations, headed by Elmer Hutchisson, and the Institute has arranged for the work to be done under subcontract with a professional translating agency.
