Pope Francis to issue encyclical regarding climate change

APR 28, 2015
Physics Today

BBC : Today, the Vatican science academy is hosting a conference on climate change titled Protect the Earth, Dignify Humanity. In attendance are religious leaders, academics, and scientists who will discuss the moral and practical reasons for action on climate change. The encyclical that Pope Francis is expected to present next month will likely cover the same subjects and define a moral imperative for Catholics to take action to prevent or minimize the effects of climate change.
