Physics information program

The Atomic Energy Commission and the National Science Foundation have granted almost $200 000 to AIP to pursue its information program. Grants for the new program (described in PHYSICS TODAY, January, page 45) are more than double those for the old documentation research project (which they now replace); additional proposals are in process.
