Physics Curriculum for Engineers

THE varied suggestions as to subjects to be included in a physics course for engineers seem to be the result of a varied bias for different branches of engineering. In other words, the variation in suggestions is largely the result of variations in the “objective” as conceived by the several suggesters. It is doubted that any close agreement as to a course content can be reached until some degree of uniformity is attained in our concept of the “objective” of such a course.
