Physics Today

The Philosophical Society of Washington, an affiliated Society of the American Institute of Physics since 1954, has announced that the following slate of officers has been elected for the present year:

François N. Frenkiel (David Taylor Model Basin), president; Malcolm C. Henderson (Catholic University) and Urner Liddel (National Aeronautics and Space Administration), vice presidents; John S. Toll (University of Maryland), treasurer; Lewis Slack (National Academy of Sciences—National Research Council), corresponding secretary; William J. Youden (National Bureau of Standards), recording secretary.
