Peace Corps

Physics Today

The Peace Corps is seeking 86 volunteers to teach physics and 152 to teach general science in developing countries during the 1963 academic year. Most of these positions are open to persons with bachelor’s degrees. There are three openings in each category at the college or university level which require at least a master’s degree. Countries of assignment may include Ethiopia. Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Somali, the Philippines, and Turkey.
