FOR the Division of Electron Physics of the American Physical Society, Virgil Stout (General Electric Research Laboratory) has been named chairman. Other Division officers are: vice chairman, Lewis Branscombe (National Bureau of Standards); secretary‐treasurer, Paul L. Hartman (Cornell University); past chairman, Walter P. Dyke (Linfield Research Institute); Executive Committee members, to 1961, R. H. Good (Iowa State University), to 1962, A. R. Hutson (Bell Telephone Laboratories), to 1963, Gottfried K. Wehner (General Mills Research Laboratories); West Coast representative, Ronald Geballe (University of Washington).
