New JAP Editor

BEGINNING with this month’s issue, the Journal of Applied Physics will be published under the editorship of James H. Crawford, associate director of the Solid State Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Oak Ridge, Tenn. Dr. Crawford, who has served as a member of the Journal’s Board of Editors since 1958, succeeds James A. Krumhansl of Cornell University, who has been editor of the publication for the past three years. Dr. Krumhansl will continue to be associated with the Journal, having taken Dr. Crawford’s place on the Board of Editors. Ethel McMillan, who served as assistant editor under the Krumhansl regime, has left her post at Cornell to join the staff at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where she will continue to assist in editing the Journal.
