Needs in High‐Energy Physics

Current activity and future prospects in the field of high‐energy or elementary‐particle physics have been the subject of a review by a panel set up by the General Advisory Committee of the Atomic Energy Commission and the President’s Science Advisory Committee. The panel made its study during the past winter and issued a report with recommendations at the end of April.
