Fund in honor of A. G. Worthing
Physics Today

A memorial fund is being established in the Physics Department at the University of Pittsburgh in honor of Professor Archie Garfield Worthing who died on July 30th at the age of 68. The fund is being made up from contributions which, at the request of the family, were sent in lieu of flowers. The money will be used to provide an annual prize for a senior majoring in physics. Friends of Dr. Worthing who wish to participate should send checks payable to the Worthing Physics Memorial in care of O. H. Blackwood, Chairman, Worthing Physics Memorial Committee, University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
