Physics Today

Scheduled to appear for the first time early next year, a new archival publication of the American Institute of Physics, the Journal of Mathematical Physics, has been conceived as a medium for the discussion of mathematical methods motivated by physical problems. Establishment of the new journal has been made possible by a grant to the Institute from the National Science Foundation.
