Iran discusses its nuclear program

OCT 15, 2013
Physics Today

New York Times : Iran is currently in the midst of discussions concerning its nuclear program. Top officials met Tuesday and today in Geneva with representatives from the five members of the United Nations Security Council—China, France, Russia, the UK, and the US—and Germany. In this initial round of talks, Iran has emphasized that its nuclear program is for energy production only, not for military purposes. The talks are the first between Iran and the P5-plus-1 countries since Hassan Rouhani became Iran’s president in August.
