A series of tuition‐free courses at various levels in radiological health will be given in Cincinnati by the U.S. Public Health Service from October, 1953 to May, 1954. Prospective candidates should have a degree in medicine, engineering or in a physical or biological science. The courses are two weeks long, the initial one being the Basic Course, covering basic radiation physics, which is to be given October 5–16, 1953, January 11–22 and May 3–14, 1954. The Intermediate Course emphasizes laboratory assay of radioelements and x‐ray survey techniques, and is scheduled for October 19–30, 1953, January 25–February 5, and May 17–28, 1954. The Advanced Course, for professional personnel dealing with occupational health problems, will be presented February 8–19. Details of these courses are available from the Chief, Radiological Health Training Section, Public Health Service, Environmental Health Center, Cincinnati, Ohio.
