Hoffman Electronics Corporation of Los Angeles recently dedicated a new division, the Hoffman Science Center, located in Santa Barbara. The center will be concerned with research in solid‐state physics, military systems, and new industrial electronic devices, and will have a staff of some 50 scientists and supporting personnel.
