Indiana cyclotron begins scattering experiments

Scientists at the Indiana University Cyclotron Facility have extracted a proton beam from the cyclotron and are beginning high‐resolution scattering experiments. The $11‐million variable‐energy device represents a joint effort on the part of the university and the National Science Foundation.
