High Schools Honored

JUN 01, 1964
Physics Today

The American Association of Physics Teachers has announced the selection of ten secondary schools to receive special certificates for their outstanding physics programs. Now in its sixth year, the award program is administered by the AAPT High School Awards Committee, headed by Professor Robert L. Sells of the State University of New York at Geneseo, N.Y. Presentation of the certificates will in each case be made by local AAPT‐AIP regional counselors in physics, who work closely with secondary schools in each state to improve the quality of physics teaching.
