Pennsylvania State University has established an interdisciplinary program leading to the MS and PhD degrees in solid‐state technology, which will begin with the 1961–62 academic year. Degree candidates enrolled in the program will carry out their research and course work in the Colleges of Chemistry and Physics, Engineering and Architecture, Mineral Industries, or a combination of the three.
