Physics Today

Research fellowships have been awarded by the General Electric Company under its education fund to fifteen graduate students. Seven received Charles A. Coffin Fellowships for advanced study in the physical sciences. Eight others were awarded Gerald Swope Fellowships for advanced study in industrial management, engineering, and various scientific and industrial fields.
