Beginning this fall, the University of Maryland is offering a PhD program in chemical physics as a joint endeavor of the Departments of Chemistry and Physics and the Institute for Molecular Physics. Students with backgrounds in physics, chemistry, mathematics, or engineering are eligible for the program. Those interested in obtaining further information should contact Professor Joseph T.
