BNL proposes storage‐ring accelerator

A group at Brookhaven National Laboratory is formulating a proposal for a proton–proton intersecting storage‐ring accelerator. The accelerator, which would provide center‐of‐mass‐energies from 60 GeV to 400 GeV, would be equivalent to one in which 105GeV protons strike stationary protons.
