Sydney Morning Herald : Australian investigators are looking into a possible case of industrial espionage at CSIRO (the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation). A Chinese national who worked as a postdoc in CSIRO’s nanotechnology laboratory is suspected of having leaked sensitive information to a foreign power. The investigation coincides with the current debate over methods used by Western intelligence agencies, particularly following former NSA contractor Edward Snowden’s release of classified documents this past year.
