Asia needs technical books

DEC 01, 1965
Physics Today

Books for Asian Students, a program of the Asia Foundation now in its tenth year, is seeking university‐ and secondary‐level books and runs of professional journals issued after 1950. Five million volumes and one million journals have already been distributed to thousands of institutions in 17 countries of Asia, and the demand continues to be great. Donations are tax deductible and the program will pay for all shipping as follows: 200 pounds or less, special 4th class book rate (send postal receipt for reimbursement); over 200 pounds, motor freight (truck) collect. Donations and any questions can be addressed to Books for Asian Students, 451 Sixth St., San Francisco, Calif. 94103.
