Arches of Science Prize

Warren Weaver has received the first Arches of Science Award from the Pacific Science Center Foundation in Seattle. The $25 000 prize and gold medal was given to Dr. Weaver for his “outstanding contributions to the public understanding of the meaning of science to contemporary man.”
