An energy conference and several out‐of‐the‐ordinary sessions of more general interest will be featured at the joint annual meeting of APS and AAPT in February.

A special Topical Conference on Energy will be the outstanding feature of the 1974 joint annual meeting of the American Physical Society and the American Association of Physics Teachers. Entitled “Physics Opportunities in Energy Problems,” the Conference will present a variety of problem areas where physics might be of benefit in easing the current energy crisis.
