In the review of Gas Discharges II, Vol. 22 of the Handbuch der Physik, by S. A. Korff (Physics Today, Jan. 1957, p. 45), Gordon Francis, the author of the section on Glow Discharge at Low Pressure, was identified with Cambridge, England. Dr. Francis is at the Clarendon Laboratory, Oxford.
