Obituary of Thomas Irby (1930-2013)

Thomas Irby, 82, passed away on Sunday, January 06, 2013 at his home in Winnsboro,S.C. He was born on October 21, 1930 in Columbia, S.C. to Frank and June (Walters) Irby. Henry grew up in Winnsboro,S.C. He graduated from Fair Field High School in Winnsboro S.C. in 1947. He then began work for a large manufacturing company with Shaw AirForce Base, where he worked for over 50 years. Thomas married Sebrina in 1956 in Winnsboro, S.C. They were happily married for 56 years. Thomas was a member of St. John Baptist Church and was very involved with the Deacon Board. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents Frank and June Irby; his brothers Scott and Greg; his sister Cheryl; and his son Jason (Joan)Irby. Thomas is survived by his spouse Sebrina Winnsboro, S.C.; his son Joshua (Annette) Irby of Dallas, TX; His grandchildren Kelly, Roger and Ryan, his great-grandchild Kimberly; and his loving nieces, nephews and numerous other relatives. A memorial service will be held at St. John Baptist Church 5429 Old Congaree Rd. at 2:30 pm on January 13, 2013.
