Obituary of Katherine Mays (1927-2011)

Katherine was an exemplary physics teacher, an AAPT member for more than 40 years, and an AAPT staff associate who helped launch the PTRA program. She was very active in the Texas Section of AAPT. Katherine taught in Sweeny, Texas and was a strong advocate for school science issues including being elected to local school board.
