David Waldorf was born Nov 12, 1930 in Ellensburg, WA. Graduated high school in Billings, MT 1949. B.S. Montana State College (now Montana State University) 1953. M.S. Purdue University 1957. Ford Motor Company Scientific Laboratory 1957-1961. Ph.D Ohio State University 1969 in experimental solid-state physics. Post docs: Nottingham University 1970-1972, Louisiana State University 1972-1979, Northeastern University 1979-1985. Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College 1985-2002. Died May 23, 2014 in Corvallis, OR.
