Dale A. Zych passed away at his home after a long illness. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Frieda and Alex Zych. He was a researcher, educator and mentor to his students as well as Physics Department Chair at SUNY Oswego for many years. Dale is survived by his beloved and devoted wife, Diane; three sons, Matthew, John and Fred Zych; his grandsons, Asher and Jonah Zych, a brother, Allen D. Zych and a sister Susan M. Doughman.
