January 1980, page 97—Dale E. Sayers’s stated professional history was in error. He joined the faculty of North Carolina State University as an assistant professor of physics in 1976 and was promoted to associate professor three years later.

—The November 1979 meeting of the APS Fluid Dynamics Division was held in Notre Dame, Indiana.

February, page 48—in the article “Organic solids: is energy-band theory enough?” by Charles B. Duke and L. B. Schein, the curve for figure 7 should be rotated 180°; the corrected figure appears below (see PDF for corrected figure).
